RUBY

RUBY, a singer songwriter from Scotch Creek BC has been working on writing music for the past four years. During this time Ruby also worked with Grammy nominated music educator Shane Adams from Nashville, DMG Music’s Darcy Deutsch from Vancouver,in Artist Development and Michael Turner from Turner Music Studio on learning the craft of music production.      

RUBY took the initiative to travel to Los Angeles in 2015 and 2016 to attend Vocalize U, a music intensive training program which helped to further her music education.  This annual music intensive attracts top vocal coaches and producers from around the world who gather to help young artists tailor their skills and build their understanding of the music industry,     

RUBY also has an interest in performing arts and has worked as an assistant director for Passion Bowl's annual production three years running.  In 2016 she co-wrote the production with writer and director, Katie Welsh.  In 2019, Ruby will direct and write the production for the annual Passion Bowl Drama Camp. 

 Since 2017, Ruby has been busy performing and recording her original work. She has performed at many venues throughout BC and had the pleasure of opening for a number of bands such as Dehli to Dublin, Shred Kelly and Irish Mythen and most recently for Boogie Patrol.   

RUBY released her first single 'THE SWELL' on October 26th, 2018 and since then she has released two singles, EZ Jam and Instant Camera and is working on her debut EP which will release in Fall 2019.  Songs are available on all your favourite platforms.
